Slight rise in prices of flats, Net increase in house prices
The eight major French urban areas continue to see their prices rise. According to Pap.fr, the increase was 0.39% in July for flats and 1.15% for houses (respectively ten and nine months of increase). These results account to the rise for the first seven months of the year for respectively +4.57% and +8.61%, variations rise for a year +7.70% and +10.84%. For three months the trend is also upward with 2.11% and 5.34%.
In regards to negotiating rates (difference between the price in the ad and the negociated price), it has fallen down to 5.42% for flats and 7.47% for houses, against respectively 5.65% and 7.58% in June. As for the average time of transaction, it is six weeks to eight weeks for apartments and houses.
